Mission

Real people building a life with Christ together

None of us has it all together, and we are not trying to pretend we have a perfect life. We are about having a fuller and deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As a family, we are trying to live a holy life and grow together toward God; who meets the needs of the people of this church and the community. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are striving to become more like Christ to find healing and hope in Him and to extend it to those around us.

Vision

To bring wholeness and community to a fractured world in God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

It is very easy to be disconnected from people and live in our own little bubbles.  Each of us may have work acquaintances and online friend networks that fill our social spheres, but these sometimes lack real connection.  Our aim is to develop a home where people can come together and be themselves - a place where people can connect in a deep and meaningful way with one another in their shared faith in God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Values

Worship: To worship simply means to give weight or worth to something, and therefor we are all worshipping something - it's just a matter of whether we are doing it thoughtfully and with a purpose. Worshipping God involves a whole life commitment. As a part of that pursuit, we meet together on Sundays for music, teaching, and encouragement to remain faithful to the call to live our lives toward and for Jesus.

Prayer: Prayer is central to worship. It is a place where we can give up our struggles and receive forgiveness from God, where we communicate with God and are changed from doing so. As a community, we hope that prayer permeates all that we do, and we specifically meet together for prayer weekly.

Discipleship: Through discipleship, we learn how to be like Christ and follow out God’s plan as a community. We participate in discipleship through Sunday school classes and weekly small group meetings.

Fellowship: We like to enjoy life together with one another, and frequently do so through things like: pick up & city league sports, sharing meals together, holding men and women’s events, and family game nights.

Service: Jesus said that he came not to be served but to serve others.  We strive to be like him in this. Service is a church community effort where we seek to both partner with other groups and agencies, and find our own approach to community needs as a team of believers to lift up others within our city.

Outreach: We intentionally build bridges with people to help them walk toward Christ, both in our local communities and partnering with other communities around the world.
